Lanier Time Attack is an integral part of the two-day 'Speed & Style' Race weekends at Caffeine and Octane Lanier Raceway! The series will consist of 5 Sunday events from April to September 2025.

P&P System (Pounds & Ponies)
- Pounds = Gross Vehicle Weight
- Ponies = Horsepower

Classes
- Street: Must run OEM tire size with street tires and be road-legal. Can run any aftermarket mod, but claimed power gains must be reported on your self-tech form and you must add the claimed +HP gains from the manufacturer's website to your cars stock HP (as reported by the manufacturer). Convertibles Allowed. Tire must have a minimum UTQG Treadwear Grade of 200.
- Outlaw: Everything else. Must have 4 wheels (3 wheels touching the ground at all times). Can run any desired tire or powertrain.
- Electric Vehicles (EVs): If 5 or more EV’s register, we add EV (Street) or EV (Outlaw) class

- Street Light = Over 2,000lbs & Under 225whp, Street Tire
- Street Muscle = Over 2,800lbs & Under 475whp, Street Tire
- Street EV = All Electric Vehicles, Street Tire
- Outlaw = Everyone Else
Time Attack
**limited to 40 spots
Compete against yourself and compete against others in this non-wheel-to-wheel competitive driving event.
- Track and Competition:
Participants will get 2x 10min open lapping session. Your fastest lap in each session counts towards the competition. Top times in each class win.
There is absolutely no passing without a point-by from the driver being overtaken. Drivers must give a point-by before the end of the 2nd passing zone they come to when impeding traffic. Part of the strategy in this event is how you navigate traffic and gap yourself for a fast lap.
- Eligibility and Pricing:
Anyone 18+ years of age with a valid (US) driver's license is eligible to participate. Ages 15-17 with at least a learner's permit can compete with parents onsite and prior approval by raceway. Cars must pass a basic safety check to make sure they have functional seat belts, are road worthy and have no unsecured items in or outside the car. All drivers must have a Snell rated helmet manufactured within the last 15 years. Helmets are available for rent [$20] first come first serve at the SpeedShop
Children 8 and under are free
****Caffeine and Octane does not issue refunds on event tickets . If the event is postponed by raceway management, credits will be issued. Credits may be used for any future raceway events. *Driver Registration Fees can be credited if the driver is unable to attend for mechanical issues.
