Lanier Time Attack is an integral part of the two-day 'Speed & Style' Race weekends at Caffeine and Octane Lanier Raceway! The series will consist of 5 Sunday events from April to September 2025.
Track is hot 12-5pm
Gates open to drivers at 10:30am....
Lanier Time Attack
Time Attack will be held the Sunday after Downforce Battles. We will do a seeding system for cars based on class, and then will have 2x10 minute sessions per class out on track. Groups will be up to 4 cars of similar class on track at once, and will run a point by pass system. Fastest time of the day for each class will be awarded, and points per class will be recorded for the end of year shootout. As an option for fun after all sessions have been completed, we will have Hot Pursuit runs, where we will put two cars on track and see if with a delayed start, you can catch the car in front.

Passengers are not allowed for Time Attack or for the Hot Pursuit runs.

Over 2,000 lbs under 225whp
Street Heavy:
Over 2800 lbs under 350whp
Street Muscle:
Over 3300 lbs under 475whp
EV / Open Wheel:
All side by sides, open wheel chassis, exoskeleton based cars, and EV's
Outlaw:
All vehicles 475 pluswhp / vehicles not classed above
***Any tire can be run in any class, with any level of aero.
***Should a car be altered during the points season, they will be reclassed, and prior points are not valid in the current class.
***All cars are subject to reclass by staff.
***ALL CONVERTIBLES REGARDLESS OF ROOF/COVER TYPE, MUST HAVE FIXED ROLL PROTECTION THAT THE DRIVER WITH HELMET FITS UNDER.
***Any challenges to class can be settled by Dyno sheet if needed, and at discretion of staff
***NO DECIBLE RESTRICTION FOR EXHAUST!
Scoring will be based per class per event. With 5 events, we will allow for 1 drop event to get the best 4 outcomes for Downforce Battles and Time Attack. Number of race wins during Downforce will correlate to points based on top wins per class, and Times during Time Attack will be allocated points based on class rank as well.
Our last event, of this series, tentatively set for September, will be an all out battle. We will still have open downforce and time attack, but we planto have extended hours on both days in order to have class specific brackets and racing. More details to follow as we class cars, find class sizes, and get close to the date!

****Caffeine and Octane does not issue refunds on event tickets . If the event is postponed by raceway management, credits will be issued. Credits may be used for any future raceway events. *Driver Registration Fees can be credited if the driver is unable to attend for mechanical issues.
