INITIATE DRIFT Novice Drift Day

Are you new to drifting? Want to get started or progress your driving? Here at Caffeine and Octane Lanier Raceway we want to focus on driver development. We know that it can be intimidating to come to a drift event at any level of novice driver and learn while so many are around.

With Initiate Drift it will give you a better opportunity to come and learn how to drift with a selection of instructors.

For beginners, you will learn the basics of car control from initiation and throttle control with donuts to transitioning with figure eights. The goal is to get our new drivers to graduate to our main course as the day progresses.

For drivers looking to level up their skill, we will have a simple no-bank course setup to learn how to connect the course and how to improve your consistency, turning spinouts into car control.

This will be an instructor-only ride-along event and will not be a tandem event.

Open to ages 15+ [undearage drivers must have their guardian onsite for check-in]

$75 DRIVER PRE-REGISTRATION

Paddock Access Spectator Ticket $18

Tailgate hillside/trackside premium parking $10 per vehicle [each person in the vehicle must have a spectator ticket]

(GENERAL PARKING IS FREE)

**Must be 18 years old to purchase & enter the paddock area
(No children allowed in the paddock area during FND, even with parents)

Children 8 and under are free

****Caffeine and Octane does not issue refunds on event tickets . If the event is postponed by raceway management, credits will be issued. Credits may be used for any future raceway events. *Driver Registration Fees can be credited if the driver is unable to attend due to mechanical issues.
